Strengthening land management in the context of administrative unit arrangement

BAC GIANG - The Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province has just issued an official dispatch requesting departments, agencies, units and localities in the province to strengthen state management of land in the context of streamlining the apparatus and rearranging administrative units.

Currently, the whole province is urgently implementing the work of streamlining the apparatus and rearranging administrative units according to the direction of the Central and the Government . In that context, there has been a situation where some specialized agencies and local authorities lack focus, neglect, and take lightly the state management of land, with the risk of land violations causing serious consequences.

To rectify the above situation and further strengthen the State management of land in the province, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested local authorities to direct the implementation and strictly inspect and supervise specialized agencies and departments to review, arrange, receive and manage land records before transferring work positions or changing work locations. Absolutely do not allow loopholes to be exploited to destroy, steal, lose or falsify land management documents. Heads of agencies, units and localities are responsible before the law if land records are lost or misplaced, causing serious consequences.

Local leaders synchronously deploy solutions to strengthen land management in the management area; direct the strict implementation of handling land violations in accordance with Directive No. 19-CT/TU dated June 11, 2020 and Conclusion No. 120-KL/TU dated August 8, 2021 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, focusing on detection, recording, and administrative handling.

Focus on mobilizing the active participation of the People in monitoring, detecting and denouncing violations of land on the principle that all violations of land and construction order must be detected, handled immediately and strictly handled in accordance with regulations; resolutely not allowing the activities of reorganizing and streamlining the apparatus to affect the prevention and handling of violations of land. Heads of localities who are negligent and irresponsible, allowing violations of land and construction order to occur, causing serious consequences, will be held responsible according to regulations.
