Keysight Technologies has just announced a significant improvement to its PXE Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) Receiver, adding real-time continuous measurement capabilities with bandwidth up to 1 GHz for wideband Time Domain Scan (TDS) functionality.
The new PXE Receiver allows engineering teams to measure the frequency band from 30 MHz to 1 GHz in a single step instead of three steps as in the previous version. This advanced feature provides high sensitivity, facilitating faster diagnostics and significantly shortening electromagnetic compliance (EMC) validation and certification processes.
With the increasing development cycles and volume of new products entering the market, EMC certification testing is rapidly becoming a bottleneck for manufacturers. The challenge for engineers in identifying and resolving EMI anomalies arising from complex electronic designs is growing. Keysight's new PXE EMI Receiver directly addresses these challenges by significantly improving test bandwidth, minimizing debugging time, and optimizing EMC chamber utilization.
The PXE EMI Receiver enables faster measurement and troubleshooting: The 1 GHz TDS band and independent stream processor (N9048BSPU) accelerate measurement speed and reduce troubleshooting time from hours to just minutes.
Reliable, real-time measurement results: The 1 GHz real-time scanning frequency band ensures continuous measurement and does not miss transitional signals or low-intensity EMI signals.
Compliance: Fully compliant with CISPR 16-1-1:2019, conforming to the latest global EMC standards.
Keysight's PXE EMI Receiver sets a new standard for precision performance and productivity, empowering engineering teams and labs to confidently and quickly address challenging EMC issues.
The PXE EMI Receiver will be showcased at Techno-Frontier 2025, held from July 23-25 in Tokyo, at booth 3-GG04 of TOYO Corporation.
