Over the past decade, the New Rural Development Program (NRDP) in the province has achieved many important results. Entering a new phase, the criteria for NDP construction are more demanding, and the program focuses on in-depth implementation. Therefore, in addition to budget support from all levels, the mobilization of the people's internal resources and the supportive role of departments, agencies, and businesses are crucial, creating momentum to help communes that have not yet met the NDP standards achieve their goals sooner.

To support Ta Rut commune in Dakrong district in building new rural areas, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism established a working group led by the department's leaders and specialized departments and units under the department to survey and evaluate the criteria for building new rural areas and organize support activities in Ta Rut commune. In 2022, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism provided 100 million VND from social contributions to build the Ta Rut Commune Cultural and Sports Center. To date, this center has been completed and put into operation, serving the organization of cultural, sports, and recreational activities for Ta Rut commune and neighboring communes.
In addition, the department has provided funding for training for artisan teams in Ta Rut commune, supported the purchase of equipment for folk singing and traditional music, donated bookshelves and books to the local library, and organized mobile library trips to schools in the commune. In 2023, the department coordinated with the People's Committee of Ta Rut commune and the Culture and Information Department of Dakrong district to organize cultural, artistic, and sports activities in the locality. The implementation of these support activities for Ta Rut commune has contributed to improving the cultural and spiritual life, motivating officials and people of Ta Rut commune to strive to gradually achieve the goal of building a New Rural Area.
During the period 2022-2025, the Department of Industry and Trade was assigned to mentor Trieu Lang commune, Trieu Phong district. Currently, Trieu Lang commune has been recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as a New Rural Area standard commune in 2022. To maintain and improve the criteria that the commune has already achieved, the Department of Industry and Trade directs the youth union to organize activities to contribute to building the New Rural Area through specific activities such as organizing the "Tet of Love" program; the "Pink Holiday" volunteer program, etc.
During the 2024-2025 period, the department will guide and support Trieu Lang commune in improving the quality of the criteria already achieved, aiming towards building a model new rural area and an advanced new rural area. At the same time, it will strengthen the dissemination of legal documents on the new rural area construction program and model new rural areas, especially those related to criterion number 4 on electricity and criterion number 7 on rural commercial infrastructure...
In addition, the Department of Industry and Trade coordinates and urges the electricity sector to renovate and develop the power grid to ensure it serves the daily life and production of people and businesses in the assigned communes... It also coordinates in disseminating information and mobilizing people to comply with land clearance for the construction of power projects passing through the area to ensure progress.
In coordination with local authorities, continue to support people and businesses in investing in the development of convenience stores and general merchandise stores to better meet the needs of people for buying and selling goods and to promote local trade and service activities. Regularly review and evaluate the results of the New Rural Development program in the assigned communes to provide guidance and resolve difficulties and obstacles in the process of building New Rural Areas and model New Rural Areas.
Over the years, the program of supporting communes in building new rural areas has continued to receive attention from departments and agencies throughout the province. After being assigned to support these communes, the departments and agencies have directed, guided, monitored, inspected, and supervised the disadvantaged communes under their care. Simultaneously, they have effectively mobilized resources to support the sponsored villages and communes in achieving the new rural area standards according to the province's roadmap. They have also taken the lead in coordinating efforts to resolve difficulties and obstacles in the implementation of the new rural area construction program in the localities... As a result, by the end of 2023, 3 out of 36 sponsored communes in the province had achieved new rural area standards; 2 communes are completing the procedures to be recognized as achieving new rural area standards in 2023.
To enhance the effectiveness of mentoring in building new rural areas, departments and agencies need to continue identifying areas requiring support and assistance for the sponsored communes. Simultaneously, they should regularly monitor the situation at the grassroots level to promptly address any difficulties and obstacles faced by the localities. Units should also prioritize carrying out their specialized tasks within their respective fields, while simultaneously seeking additional resources from external sources to support communes in achieving the new rural area standards as planned.
