This investment will be used to invest in and upgrade the Canadian International School System (CISS) in Ho Chi Minh City and expand the College and University system, especially the campuses of the Broward Vietnam school system in Hanoi , Hue and Ho Chi Minh City.
The investment from KKR helps EQuest realize its goal of making CISS the largest international school system in Ho Chi Minh City.
The Canadian International School System (CISS) is the largest international school system in Ho Chi Minh City. In addition to a wide range of academic programs such as the International Baccalaureate (IB), American College Preparation (AP), and Canadian curriculum, CISS is also known for its top-notch sports programs. The new funding will be used to upgrade facilities, recruit top sports coaches, and attract outstanding teachers to the CISS system.
Currently, EQuest is considered one of the largest private educational organizations in Vietnam with more than 362,000 students in the ecosystem from K-12 to colleges, universities and educational technology (EdTech) nationwide.
EQuest's K-12 members include inter-level school systems such as Alpha School (Hanoi), Hanoi Educational Technology Primary School, Happy School (Vung Tau), Newton Inter-level School System (Hanoi and Vinh Phuc), Hanoi Star Education System, St. Nicholas School (Da Nang), Canada - Vietnam Kindergarten (CVK), Albert Einstein School (AES), Canadian International Bilingual School (BCIS) and Canadian International School (CIS) in Ho Chi Minh City.
EQuest's system of colleges and universities includes Vietnam-USA College (Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City), Broward College (an American college with campuses in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City), Saigon Polytechnic College and Phu Xuan University (Hue).
iSMART Education, MegaSchool, MegaTest educational technology systems provide technology solutions for learning English, Math, Science with hundreds of thousands of digital lectures and testing platforms for more than 500,000 students nationwide.

On this occasion, EQuest Education Group also announced the appointment of Ms. Dam Bich Thuy, Founding President of Fulbright University Vietnam, as an independent member of the Board of Directors, effective from May 15.
Ms. Dam Bich Thuy was appointed as an independent member of the Board of Directors of EQuest.
Ms. Dam Bich Thuy has held many senior management positions in the fields of finance, banking and education.
Prior to becoming President of Fulbright University Vietnam, Ms. Thuy was the first Vietnamese General Director of ANZ Bank in Vietnam, Representative of National Australia Bank (NAB) in Vietnam and General Director of Vietnam International Bank (VIB).
She holds a BA from Hanoi University and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, USA on a Fulbright scholarship.
