Skills training for 16 ideas and projects selected for the Final round of the Hue City Creative Startup Competition 2025

The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) of Hue city organized a training course for organizations, individuals, and groups of individuals whose ideas and projects were selected for the final round of the Hue City Creative Startup Competition in 2025.

Ms. Tran Thi Thuy Yen, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Hue City, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Competition, said that the Hue City Creative Startup Competition 2025 marks the 10th year the city has organized it, not only creating a playground to encourage the spirit of innovation in the community, but also an important stepping stone to help individuals and project groups transform ideas into products and viable business models.

Through the Competition, ideas and projects have the opportunity to access experts, consultants, investors and the city's startup support policies, thereby improving management capacity, expanding connections and contributing to building an increasingly sustainable startup ecosystem in the ancient capital."

At the Training Session, 16 ideas and projects selected to participate in the Final Round of the Competition were trained by experts on presentation skills; product and market positioning; building plans to develop ideas and projects... In addition, groups of ideas and projects also exchanged and received direct answers and specific instructions from experts, thereby helping to perfect the content and best prepare for the upcoming Final Round of the Hue City Creative Startup Competition 2025.

This year's competition is scored based on 7 criteria: (1) Innovation of ideas and projects; (2) Commercialization potential and growth potential of ideas and projects; (3) Complete business model/plan of ideas and projects; (4) Level of impact and socio -economic significance of ideas and projects; (5) Project implementation resources: including readiness to expand business scale and establish enterprises after participating in the competition; (6) Presentation ability and other criteria.
