The Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project is more than 47km long, of which the section passing through Thu Duc city is nearly 14km, built on an elevated road with a scale of 4 lanes in phase 1. The route starts from the intersection with Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway, passes through Thu Duc city and ends at Tan Van intersection, bordering Binh Duong province. |
The construction atmosphere along the entire route is taking place urgently. At the construction site, the construction unit and contractor are mobilizing all machinery and human resources to speed up the project's progress. |
At the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway interchange, one of the most important connecting points of Ring Road 3, the overpass branches have clearly taken shape. At the construction site, construction teams are accelerating with a dense density of human resources and machinery. |
Many items such as pillars and beams have been installed, contractors are focusing on constructing the bridge deck, railings, lighting and drainage systems to ensure the goal of technical traffic opening on schedule. |
At the XL1 package - the connecting point of the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway, hundreds of engineers, workers and dozens of mechanical equipment work day and night, despite the unpredictable weather. |
Workers were busy working from early morning to late at night, divided into many rotating teams working non-stop along the entire route. The sounds of drilling machines, compactors, and concrete mixers echoed steadily in the harsh late June sun, creating a bustling scene at the construction sites. |
A highlight of the route is the overpass over Vinhomes Grand Park urban area - where the bridge piers and steel beams extend over the modern urban space, creating an iconic infrastructure landscape and development vision of the Eastern city. |
At the end of the section through Thu Duc city, Tan Van intersection is being urgently completed. This will be a modern three-level intersection, connecting strategic roads such as Ring Road 3, National Highway 1K and National Highway 1, contributing to reducing traffic pressure in the eastern gateway area. |
On the Dong Nai side, many access roads at the beginning of Nhon Trach bridge have been paved. Nhon Trach bridge - the largest and longest bridge on the route - has also been basically completed and is ready for traffic. This is a key project that helps directly connect Ho Chi Minh City with Dong Nai , creating a vital traffic corridor for the whole region. |
Workers construct expansion joints and complete the final items on Nhon Trach Bridge - the largest bridge on Ring Road 3 through Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai. |
When completed, Ring Road 3 will not only act as a modern traffic axis but also a "lifeline" connecting the region between Ho Chi Minh City and the provinces of Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Long An... The project helps reduce the load on inner-city traffic, promote the development of logistics, industry and expand urban space. |
