On the morning of December 1st, the ship 015-Tran Hung Dao (Tran Hung Dao ship) of the 162nd Brigade, 4th Naval Region, along with a delegation from the Vietnam People's Navy led by Colonel Nguyen Vinh Nam, Deputy Commander of the 4th Naval Region, arrived at Qingdao port, Shandong province (China).
This was the first destination for the delegation on their courtesy visit to China, Japan, and South Korea.

A solemn welcoming ceremony for the Tran Hung Dao ship and the delegation of the Vietnam People's Navy was held at Qingdao port, presided over by representatives of the North Sea Fleet Staff, People's Liberation Army Navy of China. Colonel Do Trong Duong, Deputy Defense Attaché of Vietnam in China, attended the ceremony.

Following the welcoming ceremony, Chinese naval officers boarded the Tran Hung Dao ship. The delegation and officers and soldiers of the Tran Hung Dao ship then visited the Weifang ship of the Chinese Navy.
The delegation and officers and crew of the Tran Hung Dao ship will pay a courtesy visit to the leaders of the North Sea Fleet and the Qingdao city government; and participate in some exchange activities with the Chinese Navy. The Tran Hung Dao ship will conduct joint training exercises at sea with Chinese naval vessels.

These activities contribute to strengthening cooperative relations and enhancing understanding and trust between the navies and armed forces of Vietnam and China.

Earlier, during the voyage from Cam Ranh Naval Port ( Khanh Hoa ) to Qingdao Port, despite complex weather conditions, high waves, and strong winds, the officers and soldiers of the Tran Hung Dao ship strictly maintained operational discipline, ensuring that the ship's technical equipment was functioning well and the voyage proceeded according to plan with absolute safety.
