Bringing warmth to orphans.
On the occasion of International Children's Day on June 1st, the Women's Association of the Technical Support Center of the 3rd Naval Region visited, encouraged, and presented gifts to children at the Orphanage Center under the Red Cross Society of Da Nang City; and also presented gifts to two children of fishermen sponsored by the Technical Support Center of the 3rd Naval Region in the city.


The Orphanage Center of the Da Nang City Red Cross Society, established in 1995, is a humanitarian and charitable social organization that nurtures and cares for orphaned and disabled children and helps them find loving homes.
The center operates on a 100% self-financing basis, with its resources for raising children primarily relying on support from organizations and philanthropists. The center currently cares for 14 children, including 6 with disabilities and serious illnesses.
Here, female officers and members of the Women's Union and youth union members of the Naval Region 3 Technical Support Center organized a general cleanup of the grounds, cut the children's hair; visited, encouraged them, and presented gifts including fresh milk and cash, totaling nearly 5 million VND.

Ms. Ha Thi Hoa, Deputy Director of the Orphanage Center, shared that the affection and material support from the Women's Association of the Naval Region 3 Technical Support Center not only contribute to improving the daily lives of the children but also instill confidence, warmth, and hope for the future; serving as a driving force for the Center to continue caring for, educating , and protecting the rights of orphaned children.
Taking care of the children of Navy soldiers.
In Khanh Hoa , the Command of Naval Region 4, in coordination with Children's Hospital 2 in Ho Chi Minh City, organized a program to provide free medical examinations, health consultations, medication, and gifts for the children of officers and soldiers working at agencies and units under the 4th Naval Region Command.

During the program, doctors and medical staff directly conducted general examinations, provided health consultations, and guided on care and disease prevention for 800 children of officers and soldiers. Through screening, doctors discovered many cases of cardiovascular diseases, anemia, malnutrition, and other illnesses requiring specialized monitoring and treatment; they also advised families on appropriate care and treatment measures.
For cases of common illnesses, the team provided free medicine and instructed parents on how to monitor and care for their children's health at home. This activity contributed to supporting families in primary healthcare, reducing the cost of medical examinations and treatment for the children of officers and soldiers.
The delegation also presented 800 gifts, including milk, confectionery, and other meaningful presents, to children on the occasion of International Children's Day on June 1st. This contributed to strengthening the cooperative relationship and connection between medical facilities and military units in community health care.

Empowering the future generation
On this occasion, in Hanoi, the Military Medical Academy organized a meeting with students to commend and congratulate those who achieved excellent results in the 2015-2026 school year; and to encourage students with serious illnesses, disabilities, and children of officers and staff suffering from serious illnesses to continue striving in their studies and achieve even higher results in the coming school year.
At the event, meaningful gifts filled with love and affection were presented by the leaders of the Military Medical Academy to the future generation. Along with that were entertaining circus performances by artists from the Vietnam Circus Federation, aiming to provide a rewarding summer for the students.

Speaking at the program, Major General Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Nam - Deputy Political Commissar of the Military Medical Academy, said that in the 2025-2026 academic year, the entire Academy is proud to have more than 1,000 students achieving the title of excellent student at all levels and winning high prizes in competitions from the school cluster level to the national level.
In particular, there are 76 outstanding students and 18 students who, despite suffering from serious illnesses or disabilities, have persevered and strived to overcome difficulties; this is clear evidence of the nation's tradition of valuing education.
Along with commending the achievements of the students, Major General Nguyen Van Nam urged agencies, units, and each officer and employee in the Academy to create the best conditions for the children to continue developing comprehensively in terms of morality, intellect, physical fitness, and aesthetics, so that they become good children, excellent students, and useful citizens, the future masters of the country.
