Studying and following the teachings of President Ho Chi Minh "wherever there is a need, there is youth, where there is difficulty, there is youth", in recent years, the youth of Duc Trong district have constantly strived and practiced following the example of the great Uncle Ho. The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Duc Trong district is one of the collectives awarded a certificate of merit by the Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee for many achievements in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in the period of 2021 - 2023.

• MANY PRACTICAL WORKS AND WORKS
Through many practical actions, building good and creative models in many fields, Duc Trong youth have continuously devoted their youth and intelligence, contributing to socio-economic development, joining hands for community life.
Introducing the recently completed youth projects and tasks, Secretary of Duc Trong District Youth Union Nguyen Thi Dinh excitedly shared: In response to Youth Month 2023, union members and young people (YU) in the whole district have actively participated in volunteer activities for social security, environmental sanitation, and new rural construction... In particular, the typical youth project "Lighting up the countryside roads" in K'ren village, Hiep An commune with a total value of 53 million VND. K'ren village is mainly inhabited by ethnic minorities, and previously there was no street lighting system, so there was a potential risk of insecurity, disorder, and traffic safety. The District Youth Union coordinated with the People's Committee of Hiep An commune to carry out a project 1,000 m long along the inter-village road with 25 solar-powered lights. This is a specific project and task, affirming the role of the Youth Union in undertaking projects and tasks with the local government and people to join hands in building new rural areas.
With the slogan "Wherever needed, there are youth", Duc Trong District Youth Union has launched and implemented many exciting emulation movements to follow Uncle Ho's teachings among the Youth Union through practical works and tasks. In 2022 alone, Duc Trong District Youth Union chapters at all levels planted and coordinated the planting of more than 60,000 scattered trees, donated 784 units of blood, and carried out 3 projects to light up rural roads in Binh Thanh, Da Loan and Hiep An communes with a total value of 160 million VND. At the same time, mobilized and awarded more than 1.5 billion VND in funding to support gifts and scholarships for team members and students in difficult circumstances who achieved high academic results at schools in the district.
Along with that, promoting the role in accompanying young people to establish their careers, Duc Trong District Youth Union has built, supported and developed cooperatives and collective economic models for rural youth in the area. The Standing Committee of the District Youth Union has implemented 7 models of youth cooperative groups raising beef cattle, crossbred wild pigs, and purchasing agricultural products in Tan Hoi, Ninh Gia, Ta Nang, Da Loan, Phu Hoi, Tan Thanh communes and Lien Nghia town with high efficiency. Typical examples are the Youth Economic Cooperative Group Model of Tan Thanh commune and Lien Nghia town, the Clean Agricultural Product Purchasing Model - Lien Nghia town received a certificate of merit from the Central Youth Union, member Pham Thi An - Ninh Gia commune with the OCOP Model, member Luu Lap Duc - Lien Nghia town with the Youth Model of Linking Purchasing and Consuming Agricultural Products...
• INTEGRATING STUDYING AND FOLLOWING UNCLE HO INTO THE UNION'S WORK PROGRAM
Secretary of Duc Trong District Youth Union Nguyen Thi Dinh said that in order to create an environment and motivation for young union members to strive, study, practice, and promote their role in performing political tasks in the locality, all levels of the Youth Union in the district have promoted the implementation of Conclusion No. 01 on continuing to implement Directive No. 05 "on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and lifestyle". In particular, the study and following of Uncle Ho is included in the Youth Union's work program, youth and children's movements, identifying this as an important content in the training program for union members, being implemented synchronously and becoming a regular activity of all levels of the Youth Union, Association, Team, cadres, and young union members.
Propaganda, education and awareness raising for young union members and children about Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style are flexibly deployed in association with each target group, diversifying modern media forms and spreading widely. In particular, propaganda about the example of advanced youth following Uncle Ho's teachings on information channels and social networks. Thereby, creating positive changes in awareness and actions on training and self-cultivation of union officials, young union members, youth and children competing to study and follow Uncle Ho. In 2022 alone, Duc Trong District Union organized many film screenings, seminars, research on literary and artistic works about Uncle Ho, talked about traditions, and met generations attracting a large number of union members, youth and children to participate. At the same time, upgrading and building more than 44 bookcases "Youth following Uncle Ho's teachings", "Duc Trong children implementing well the 5 teachings of Uncle Ho". The Youth Union - Association - Pioneer organizations in the district regularly maintain the content of "Telling stories about Ho Chi Minh's moral example" and the "Telling stories from books" contest, cultural and artistic performances praising the Party and Uncle Ho, attracting thousands of young union members, youth and children to participate.
It can be affirmed that the learning and following of Uncle Ho's teachings by Duc Trong's youth has been spreading widely, truly entering life, helping the Youth Union members better understand their role and responsibility for the cause of building and defending the Fatherland; at the same time, creating a foundation for the youth to continue to make efforts, be creative, contribute to building the homeland, and promote the building of an increasingly strong Youth Union organization.
