In October 2024, the schedule for customer meter readings will be changed.

The city's power company is inspecting customers' meters.

Bac Kan Power Company will shift the meter reading schedule for customers using electricity after public substations in October (moving from the 21st, 22nd, 23rd, and 24th to the 27th, 28th, and the last day of the month).

Changing the meter reading schedule to the end of the month will help customers conveniently monitor their electricity consumption, supervise meter readings, and pay their electricity bills. This will help the electricity industry continuously improve customer service, meeting the roadmap for modernizing the metering system and digital transformation in the customer service business.

During the month when the meter reading schedule is changed, electricity bills will be recorded and calculated based on the actual number of days of electricity usage by the customer. For customers purchasing electricity for domestic purposes (applying tiered electricity pricing), electricity bills will be calculated according to the regulations in Clause 5, Article 1, Circular 09/2023/TT-BCT dated April 21, 2023 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade to ensure the rights of customers.
