(QNO) - On the morning of December 22, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Nguyen Commune (Thang Binh) held the 10th Congress (term 2024 - 2029). The congress was attended by 91 official delegates. This is the first unit selected by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thang Binh District to organize a model congress at the commune and town level.
In the 2019 - 2024 term, the Binh Nguyen Commune Front has promoted the strength of the great national solidarity bloc in building and developing the local socio -economy. Many new rural construction models have been effectively implemented, such as the model "Residential areas, cultural and religious ethnic groups join hands to protect the environment", "Residential areas do not scatter votive papers during funerals"; in addition, it has mobilized people to donate over 10,000 square meters of land and architectural objects, contributing nearly 2 billion VND to build cultural institutions, rural roads, intra-field canals, etc.
The Binh Nguyen Commune Front has focused on mobilizing funds for the poor, mobilizing more than 500 million VND during its term; supporting the repair and construction of 11 solidarity houses; providing many means of livelihood for families in difficult circumstances; contributing to reducing the poverty rate of the commune to 1.73%.
During the term, 12 supervision meetings, 3 social criticism conferences, 9 direct dialogue forums between party leaders and the people were organized... receiving more than 200 opinions. Basically, the opinions were considered and resolved satisfactorily, meeting the people's aspirations.
On this occasion, the Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front delegates of Binh Nguyen commune elected the 10th Executive Committee for the 2024-2029 term with 39 members.
