Thanh Hoa: Fishing boat fire extinguished overnight.

On the morning of June 1st, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Border Guard Command announced that the Hai Hoa Border Guard Station, along with local forces, had promptly assisted in extinguishing a fire on a fishing vessel at its mooring.

Earlier, at around 1 AM on June 1st, the fishing vessel NA-90972-TS, registered in 1968 and belonging to Mr. Tran Van Sau from Nghe An province, which had entered Hai Chau fishing port at over 5 PM on May 22nd and was anchored at the dock, suddenly caught fire.

Immediately after receiving the report, the Hai Hoa Border Guard Station dispatched forces to coordinate with local Party committees, authorities, and people in the area to participate in firefighting, rescue, and relief efforts.

Forces concentrated their efforts on controlling the fire and extinguishing it. By 4:00 AM the same day, the fire was completely extinguished, with no casualties.

However, the fire caused extensive damage to the ship's cabin, engine, and fishing gear.

The vessel in question is known to be 14.85m long, with a power of 136 HP, and is registered for trawling. The captain is Mr. Le Cong Tuan, born in 1997, residing in Nam Thanh residential area, Ngoc Son ward, Thanh Hoa province.

Authorities in Thanh Hoa are currently working with the vehicle's owner and manager to determine the exact cause of the fire.
