(NLĐO) - Son La province recently held a conference to announce the establishment of six departments and key personnel following the restructuring.

On the afternoon of February 20th, the People's Committee of Son La province held a conference to announce the Resolution of the Provincial People's Council on the establishment of specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee; and the decision of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee allowing the merger of mass organizations assigned tasks by the Party and the State, as well as personnel matters.

At the conference, the leaders of the Son La Provincial People's Committee announced the Resolution of the Son La Provincial People's Council on the establishment of specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee. They also announced the functions, tasks, and headquarters of the six newly established departments: the Department of Internal Affairs; the Department of Construction; the Department of Agriculture and Environment; the Department of Finance; the Department of Science and Technology; and the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religion. This Resolution takes effect from March 1, 2025.

In addition, at the conference, the leaders of the Department of Internal Affairs announced the decision to appoint leaders of specialized agencies of the Son La Provincial People's Committee; the decision of the Chairman of the Son La Provincial People's Committee on the transfer, acceptance and appointment of 12 leading and managerial civil servants; and the transfer and appointment of 31 deputy directors of departments and agencies.

Specifically, Ms. Pham Thi Doan holds the position of Director of the Department of Science and Technology; Mr. Nguyen Minh Tien holds the position of Director of the Department of Finance; Mr. Dao Tai Tue holds the position of Director of the Department of Construction; Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung holds the position of Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religion; Mr. Phung Kim Son holds the position of Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment; Mr. Nguyen Viet Cuong holds the position of Director of the Department of Industry and Trade; Mr. Nguyen Duc Toan holds the position of Director of the Department of Health ; Mr. Luu Binh Khiem holds the position of Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs; and Ms. Luong Thi Nhu Hoa holds the position of Director of the Department of Internal Affairs.

Mr. Tran Dac Thang, Director of the Department of Health, has been transferred to the Mai Son District Party Committee; Mr. Ha Ngoc Chung, Director of the Department of Construction, has been transferred to the Phu Yen District Party Committee; and Mr. Nguyen Van Bac, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, has been transferred to the Muong La District Party Committee.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Viet, Chairman of the People's Committee of Son La province, highly appreciated the proactiveness, responsibility, and solidarity of the departments, agencies, and officials in advising and developing the plan for the scientific and synchronized restructuring and organization of the administrative apparatus, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and suitability to the province's actual situation.

The Chairman of Son La province requested that agencies and units focus on completing the handover process regarding organization, personnel, assets, finances, and facilities. At the same time, they should review and revise regulations, working procedures, and coordination mechanisms to suit the new organizational structure.
