On the afternoon of April 20th, the Hai Phong City Federation of Labor Unions held a ceremony to announce the decision to establish a grassroots trade union at Tinno Vietnam Co., Ltd. (An Duong Industrial Park).
Tinno Vietnam Co., Ltd. is a 100% foreign-invested company specializing in the production of mobile phones, iPads, Wi-Fi devices, and smartwatches. The company officially commenced operations in July 2025, employing 531 people, including 298 women.
After commencing operations, the company's employees wish to establish a trade union to represent and protect their legitimate rights and interests.
With the support of the Industrial Zone Trade Union Committee and the City Federation of Labor, in March 2026, the Steering Committee for the establishment of the company's trade union was formed; propaganda was organized to help workers understand the rights and responsibilities of union members and the role of the trade union in the enterprise. As a result, 100% of the workers submitted applications to join the trade union.

At the conference, representatives from the Industrial Zone Trade Union presented the decision of the City Federation of Labor regarding the establishment of the Tinno Vietnam Co., Ltd. Trade Union; admitted 531 union members; recognized the company's Trade Union Executive Committee consisting of 7 members; and the company's Trade Union Inspection Committee consisting of 3 members.
The leaders of the Industrial Zone Trade Union Committee requested that the company's Trade Union Executive Committee quickly stabilize its organization, coordinate with the company's leadership to develop a collective labor agreement, and represent the workers in signing the collective labor agreement.
The grassroots trade union executive committee must effectively represent and protect the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers; do a good job of developing union membership within the enterprise, and consolidate and build a strong grassroots trade union organization.
