Establishment of art troupe to serve Truong Sa island district

Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism with officials, artists and actors before leaving for Truong Sa island district.

The 16 members of the troupe are distinguished artists and excellent actors in the fields of singing, dancing, and cheo. Identifying this as one of the important political tasks, especially in the “frontier” environment, the troupe has built a flexible and meticulously staged art program, combining many unique performances, praising the Party, Uncle Ho, the love for the sea and islands, along with songs about the homeland that are closely associated with the cadres and soldiers who are day and night protecting the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.

With the spirit of “ready to serve and serve wholeheartedly”, the performances of the Group will not be limited in time, bringing both relaxing moments and creating opportunities for cultural and artistic exchange, contributing to encouraging the spirit of cadres, soldiers and people on remote islands.

Before departure, representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism met and encouraged the members of the delegation. The delegation also received many meaningful gifts from the Department, groups and individuals to present to the officers, soldiers and people of Truong Sa island district, expressing the deep affection of the people of the whole country for those who are working day and night to protect the island.
