At Viet Cuong vermicelli cooperative (Viet Cuong hamlet, Dong Hy commune), the production atmosphere is always bustling. Previously, the stages of processing raw materials, drying and preserving products were mainly done manually, taking a lot of time and money. Thanks to the support of more than 300 million VND from the industrial promotion fund to invest in automatic processing, drying and filtering systems, productivity has increased 3-4 times, product quality is also more stable and uniform.

Mr. Nguyen Van Ba, Director of the Cooperative, said: Without the support from the Industrial Promotion Program, the Cooperative would have difficulty accessing modern production technology. Currently, the Cooperative's products are available in many supermarkets and major distribution channels nationwide, and some items have even been exported. In 2024, the unit's export output will reach more than 20 tons; in 2025, the Cooperative aims to produce and consume over 500 tons of various types of vermicelli, of which over 40 tons will be for export.

Not only in the food sector, many rural industrial production facilities have also made important progress thanks to support from industrial promotion programs. At Song Vu Minh The Company Limited (Trung Na hamlet, La Bang commune), the SNC metal cutting machine system and many modern equipment have replaced manual technology, helping to improve productivity and product quality.

Mr. Vu Minh The, Director of the Company, said: From 2017 to now, the enterprise has been supported in technological innovation 3 times, thereby forming a modern, synchronous production line and the products are increasingly accepted by the market.

In the field of agricultural processing, the VietGAP Tea Production Cooperative in Trung Thanh 1 Hamlet, Vo Tranh Commune, is a bright spot. In 2024, the unit invested in 75 new technology tea rolling machines with a total cost of more than 400 million VND, of which the National Industrial Promotion Program supported 195 million VND, the rest was contributed by the people. Thanks to that, the productivity and quality of tea have been significantly improved, the average selling price has increased by 20-30%, and consumption has also increased sharply.

According to the assessment of the Agriculture sector, the development space of the Cooperative Group is still very large, because the production area according to VietGAP only accounts for half. If it continues to apply advanced production and processing processes, invests in modern machinery and expands safe tea areas, the unit can increase production value, build a unique tea brand, and contribute to improving people's income.

Mr. Dinh Quoc Van, Head of the Cooperative Group, shared: With new machines, we can both save labor and create standard, safe products that are easy to access, even in demanding markets...

Nearly 200 rural industrial establishments have benefited, creating stable jobs for hundreds of workers. Thanks to this support, the value of industrial production in rural areas has increased significantly; many products have been recognized as typical rural industrial products at the regional level, opening up opportunities for market expansion.

Mr. Quach Manh Thang, Deputy Director of the Center for Industrial Promotion and Industrial Development Consulting, emphasized: Industrial promotion not only supports capital but also accompanies establishments in technology transfer, human resource training and market connection. In the coming time, the Center will prioritize clean production projects, save energy, and support products participating in the OCOP Program to enhance their brands.

In fact, from small cooperatives to small and medium enterprises, industrial promotion activities have become an important "push", creating conditions for units to boldly invest and expand production. Through industrial promotion projects, the rural economy has been shifted in a positive direction, employment and income for workers have been improved, and at the same time, the competitiveness of rural industry has been gradually enhanced.
