Hundreds of soldiers join in overcoming the consequences of floods

On the morning of October 9, more than 500 officers and soldiers of Regiment 209, Division 312 (stationed in Song Cong, Thai Nguyen province) and more than 100 officers and soldiers of Brigade 210 (Military Region 1) participated in cleaning up the environment in the provincial administrative center area after the floodwaters receded.

Soldiers participated in cleaning up and overcoming the consequences of floods in the administrative center of Thai Nguyen province.

A force of officers and soldiers were present at Vo Nguyen Giap Square, Phan Dinh Phung Ward, to clear mud, collect garbage, clear sewers and clean the environment.

In addition to the Vo Nguyen Giap Square area, officers and soldiers of the two units also carried out cleaning work in key areas, such as: Thai Nguyen Provincial Cultural Center, and several schools around the area.

Previously, Regiment 209 supported flood response and recovery work in communes and wards heavily affected by floods such as Trung Thanh commune, Song Cong ward and Bach Quang ward.

Participating in supporting localities to overcome the consequences of floods demonstrates the sense of responsibility and readiness to serve the people of officers and soldiers of Regiment 209, Division 312 and Brigade 210 (Military Region 1); contributing to the government and people to quickly stabilize their lives and activities.
