The establishment of the Association of Retired People's Police Officers of Phuong Liet Ward fulfills the legitimate aspirations of numerous generations of retired police officers. This is not only a place for sharing, caring for, and helping each other in life, but also an official organization for comrades to continue to contribute their wisdom and experience, working alongside the government and people in the local development.

Many retired police officers have been actively involved in grassroots work, holding positions such as Party Branch Secretary, Neighborhood Group Leader, Front Committee Member, and member of core organizations and associations.

The congress elected the Executive Committee of the Association of Former People's Police Officers of Phuong Liet Ward for the term 2026-2031. After the first meeting, the Executive Committee elected the Standing Committee, the President, the Vice President, and the Head of the Inspection Committee of the Association. The Executive Committee of the Association of Former People's Police Officers of Phuong Liet Ward for the term 2026-2031 was introduced at the congress.

Speaking at the congress, Comrade Ngo Minh Hong, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phuong Liet Ward, affirmed that the founding congress of the Association of Former People's Police Officers of the ward is the beginning of a new journey with many expectations.

The Vice Chairman of the Ward People's Committee requested that, immediately after the congress, the Executive Committee of the Ward's Association of Former People's Police Officers for the 2026-2031 term should promptly develop operational regulations and a comprehensive work program suitable to the local characteristics; and proactively coordinate closely with the Ward Police and other relevant organizations to create a smooth and effective operational mechanism.

In addition, the Association proactively coordinates with the regular ward police force to monitor public opinion and participate in mediation at the grassroots level; continues to leverage experience and take the lead in movements to maintain urban order, civilized streets, ensure food safety, support digital transformation in residential areas, and educate the younger generation about traditions.
