Vietnam Development Bank, Dong Nai branch was established under the decision of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Development Bank on the basis of merging Dong Nai Transaction Office (under Transaction Office II) and Dong Nai Transaction Office (under Vietnam Development Bank branch in Binh Duong - Binh Phuoc area). The branch officially came into operation from September 1, 2025. As a branch of Vietnam Development Bank, the branch's task is to implement the State's investment credit policy in Dong Nai province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Director of the State Bank of Vietnam, Branch 2, Nguyen Duc Lenh, shared: The establishment and official operation of the Vietnam Development Bank, Dong Nai branch will contribute to diversifying types of credit institutions and credit programs. In particular, along with policy credit through the activities of the Social Policy Bank, Dong Nai branch, investment credit through the activities of the Vietnam Development Bank will be effective tools to promote the role of state credit in effective and sustainable socio-economic development in the locality.
