On the afternoon of June 17, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Tri district reviewed the work of the front in the first 6 months of 2025, commended typical works and tasks; and reviewed the work of mobilizing and supporting the Fund for Vietnam's seas and islands in 2025.
At the conference, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Tri district Tran Thi Van said that in the first 6 months of 2025, emulation movements and campaigns chaired by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee such as: All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas, Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods... attracted a large number of union members, association members, and people from all walks of life to participate.
Results: 440/464 funerals were cremated (reaching a rate of 94.8%), many units had a cremation rate of 100% maintained for many consecutive years such as the communes: Tu Hiep, Tan Trieu, Thanh Liet, Van Dien Town... 100% of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of communes, towns, and the Front Working Committees of residential areas registered and performed well 68/114 projects and tasks; many projects and tasks had widespread influence and were replicated.
The propaganda and mobilization work to support the Vietnam Sea and Islands Fund in 2025 has been promoted. Organizations and individuals in the district donated nearly 2 billion VND (reaching 163% of the target). People and officials of Thanh Tri district responded to support at the Launching Ceremony to support the Fund for Vietnam Sea and Islands in 2025 organized by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi city; reaching 106% of the plan to support the Fund for Vietnam Sea and Islands in 2024.
Social security activities have received attention. The Fatherland Front at all levels has presented 1,330 gifts and supported the construction of 12 solidarity houses for near-poverty households and households in especially difficult circumstances with a total amount of over 1.2 billion VND.
The work of Party building, government building, supervision and social criticism continues to be well implemented; the relationship between the people and the Party and government is close, contributing to building and consolidating the great national unity bloc more and more firmly...
At the conference, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City Nguyen Sy Truong commended the achievements of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at district levels in the first 6 months of 2025.
Implementing Conclusion No. 137-KL/TU dated March 28, 2025 of the Politburo and Secretariat on the Project on reorganizing administrative units at all levels and building a two-level local government organization model, this is an opportunity, but also poses many difficulties and challenges, especially for the staff of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels.
To perform its tasks well, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels need to strengthen propaganda and dissemination of the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws to all classes of people, especially the arrangement of administrative units and amendments to the 2013 Constitution, creating social consensus.
Through propaganda activities to unify awareness and action towards the new era, the era of national rise; innovate, improve the quality and effectiveness of emulation movements and campaigns. The focus is on the Campaign for the Whole People to Unite to Build New Rural Areas and Civilized Urban Areas; Campaign for the Poor; Emulation Movement for Digital Citizens to Rise Up with the Capital... associated with the implementation of local political tasks; strongly innovate the content and methods of operation of the Front to adapt to the requirements and tasks in the new situation, best prepare conditions so that after the merger, the new organizational unit can operate effectively from July 1 without interruption.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Tri district awarded 15 collectives and 16 individuals with outstanding achievements in mobilizing support for the Fund for the sea and islands; 13 collectives with outstanding achievements in implementing projects and tasks to celebrate major holidays of the country, the capital and Thanh Tri district.
