Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee has just announced and awarded many decisions to key officials.

The Politburo decided to approve Mr. Dang Minh Thong to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee (new) for the 2020-2025 term.

On July 1, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee held a ceremony to announce the personnel decisions. The Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee chaired the ceremony.

At the ceremony, representatives of the City Party Committee's Organizing Committee announced the decisions.

Accordingly, the Politburo decided to approve Mr. Dang Minh Thong, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province (old) to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee (new) for the 2020-2025 term.

The Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee decided to assign Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, member of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, to hold the position of Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

The Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee decided to assign Mr. Pham Hong Son, member of the City Party Committee, to hold the position of Chief of Office of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

Also at the ceremony, the representative of the Organizing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee announced the decision of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Executive Committee on the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh City Military Party Committee; the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh City Police Party Committee; the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee of Party agencies; the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Party Committee; and the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Inspection Committee.

Speaking at the assignment, Party Central Committee member and Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Nghi requested that advisory and support agencies urgently stabilize the organizational structure; quickly develop and submit to the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee for promulgation regulations on functions, tasks, organizational structure, and working relationships according to regulations and instructions.

The Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Agencies, the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, the Party Committee of the Public Security and the Party Committee of the City Military need to urgently review, revise, supplement and submit to the Standing Committee the functions, tasks, organizational structure and working relationships. At the same time, complete the reception of Party organizations and Party members under the Party Committee, and arrange the organization in accordance with regulations.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi hopes that Mr. Dang Minh Thong will continue to promote his capacity, strengths, and experience; strive to complete the assigned tasks well. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi emphasized that the announcement and awarding of this personnel decision is a fundamental step for Ho Chi Minh City to complete the final steps, put the apparatus into operation, and effectively carry out leadership and direction tasks.

Representing the collectives and individuals who have just been awarded the decision, the new Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Nguyen Manh Cuong, thanked the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee for entrusting him and the staff with the task.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong said that individuals and collectives must do their assigned tasks and responsibilities correctly and best, first of all, the operation of local governments at two levels and the organization of Party Congresses at all levels.
