TPO - The Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee has decided to transfer and appoint Mr. Le Tran Kien - Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Thanh My Tay ward - to the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of An Khanh ward for the term 2025-2030.

On the morning of June 1st, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee held a conference to announce decisions on personnel matters. Mr. Le Quoc Phong, Member of the Central Committee of the Party and Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, chaired the conference.

At the ceremony, Mr. Le Quoc Phong presented the decision of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee regarding the transfer and appointment of Mr. Le Tran Kien - Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Thanh My Tay Ward, to participate in the Executive Committee and Standing Committee, and to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of An Khanh Ward, for the term 2025-2030.

Previously, Mr. Hoang Tung, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of An Khanh Ward, was elected by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council to the position of Head of the Urban Planning Committee of the City People's Council.

The Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee also decided to transfer Mr. Nguyen Minh Chanh - Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of An Phu Dong Ward - to work at the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to be appointed as Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Agriculture and Environment.

At the same time, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee also decided to accept, transfer, and appoint Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hoang - Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Agriculture and Environment - to participate in the Executive Committee and Standing Committee, and to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of An Phu Dong Ward, for the term 2025-2030.

Speaking at the assignment ceremony, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Le Quoc Phong stated that the tasks at the grassroots level are currently very important in implementing the two-tiered local government model. Leadership at the grassroots level is a crucial position, greatly influencing the completion of political tasks, ensuring stability, and contributing to the development of the locality and the city, especially in the context of Ho Chi Minh City implementing Resolution No. 09 of the Politburo on building and developing Ho Chi Minh City in the new era.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee requested that officials assuming new responsibilities continue to leverage their experience, capabilities, and strengths; quickly familiarize themselves with their work and, together with the local leadership and units, immediately implement the tasks assigned by the city, ensuring the best possible achievement of the set goals and requirements.
