
Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee visits and presents gifts to families entitled to preferential policies in Lam Dong.
On April 29th, a delegation of Party and State leaders, led by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, and Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee, visited and presented gifts to families entitled to preferential policies in Cu Jut commune, Lam Dong province.
The delegation visited and presented gifts to two families receiving preferential treatment, including: the family of Ms. Luong Thi Than, a former youth volunteer who was exposed to chemical toxins, in Hamlet 9, Tam Thang, Cu Jut Commune; and the family of Mr. Ma Quang Vinh, a family that worships martyrs, in Hamlet 5, Ea Tling, Cu Jut Commune.

During his visits, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi cordially inquired about the health and well-being of the families of policy beneficiaries and expressed profound gratitude for their contributions to the national liberation struggle. The Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee affirmed that the Party, State, and people always acknowledge and cherish the sacrifices and bloodshed of martyrs, wounded soldiers, and families with revolutionary merit.
The Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee also encouraged the families to live happily and healthily, continue to uphold revolutionary traditions, and actively contribute to the development of their localities and the country. He requested that local Party committees and authorities continue to pay attention to and fully and promptly implement policies to ensure the material and spiritual well-being of those who have rendered meritorious services in the area, demonstrating the nation's tradition of remembering those who have contributed to the nation.

Also on April 29th, a delegation from Lam Dong province, led by Mr. Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, visited and presented gifts to 78 disadvantaged workers and laborers in Cu Jut commune, Lam Dong province. In Dinh Trang Thuong commune, Lam Dong province, a delegation from the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, led by Mr. Ho Van Muoi, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, presented gifts from Party and State leaders to 60 policy beneficiaries on the occasion of the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification and the 140th anniversary of International Labor Day.
Giving away many heartfelt gifts.
At a meeting and gift-giving program for policy beneficiary families, meritorious individuals, workers, laborers, and households in difficult circumstances in the province, the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Bien province presented 94 gifts to Dien Bien soldiers and liberation fighters; 100 gifts to policy beneficiary families, poor households, and people in difficult circumstances; and 100 gifts to workers and laborers in difficult circumstances in the province.

Mr. Mua A Vang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Bien province, emphasized: Although the gifts are not large in value, they demonstrate the deep affection, responsibility, and gratitude of the Party, the State, and the province towards policy beneficiary families and those who have contributed to the revolution; at the same time, they represent sharing and encouragement for poor households, workers, and laborers to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
Over the years, Dien Bien province has consistently focused on implementing social welfare policies, caring for the material and spiritual well-being of policy beneficiary families, war veterans, poor households, and workers; effectively carrying out activities such as the "Gratitude and Repayment" Fund, the "For the Poor" Fund, supporting the construction and repair of houses, caring for wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and families of martyrs; and implementing the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.

Provincial leaders urged policy beneficiary families, meritorious individuals, veterans, workers, and laborers to continue upholding revolutionary traditions and the spirit of Dien Bien Phu in peacetime, striving to overcome difficulties, actively participating in socio-economic development, and contributing to the further development of Dien Bien province. All levels and sectors should continue to pay attention to and better implement social security policies, ensuring that all policy beneficiary families and meritorious individuals have stable lives.
