In countries with tropical climates, it is not uncommon to find pythons or snakes "visiting" houses. However, the situation that a man in Thailand encountered below is perhaps truly unique. It not only shocked the homeowner but also surprised the rescue workers because they had never encountered it before.
According to information published in Thaiger, the incident occurred in Khlong Khlung district, Kamphaeng Phet province, Thailand at around 8 pm on Tuesday, June 11. The Sawang Khlong Wilai rescue unit received a report from the Sawang Kamphaeng Phet radio station that a large number of pythons had entered a residential area at house number 52/4, Moo 4, Khong Wilai village. During this intrusion, the pythons bit a man, injuring him.
Upon further examination, the injured person was identified as Khomkrit, 34. The victim had been bitten on the tip of his left index finger and was experiencing dizziness, although he remained conscious.
A total of 13 pythons were found in the home of Mr Khomkrit, 34 years old.
The homeowner shared that he was at home when he heard strange noises. When he checked, he was extremely confused to see pythons crawling all over the house. When the rescue workers arrived, they were also shocked to see a total of 13 of them. After using professional measures, they put the animals in bags and will release them back into the wild.
The rescue team provided first aid before transferring Mr Khomkrit to Khlong Khlung Hospital for further medical attention.
The post was shared in the All About Thai Snakes group and attracted considerable attention from residents and the online community. Many were curious about what led to such a large number of pythons entering a household. Although pythons are common in Thailand, it is unusual for so many to appear in one place at the same time.

Local authorities have been alerted to the situation and are likely to investigate further to ensure the safety of people in the area. The quick action of the rescue team in capturing the pythons and providing immediate first aid to the injured man has been praised by the community.
“We have dealt with cases of pythons and snakes crawling into houses before, but this is the first time we have encountered so many pythons at the same time,” said a local government representative.
Meanwhile, experts say that all pythons are not venomous, but they have many teeth, so if a python bites or squeezes around the body, the victim may be in danger. Therefore, when discovering a python crawling into the house, it is necessary to escape as quickly as possible and call for help.
