VHO - Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long signed Decision No. 1473/QD-TTg dated November 26, 2024 to rank 6 relics as Special National Monuments (16th batch).

Specifically, the 6 relics ranked as Special National Monuments this time include: Architectural and artistic relics of the Complex of Communal House, Temple and Pagoda of Tien Luc in Lang Giang District, Bac Giang Province;

Dinh Bang communal house architectural and artistic relic in Tu Son city, Bac Ninh province;

The historical-architectural relic of Da Hoa-Da Trach relic site is located in Khoai Chau district, Hung Yen province;

Historical site of Le Huu Trac's Tomb and Memorial Area, in Huong Son district, Ha Tinh province;

Historical relics of the Ho Chi Minh Trail at sea in Hai Phong city, Phu Yen province, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province and Ca Mau province;

The historical site of the 105mm artillery site of Company 805 in Dien Bien Phu city and Dien Bien district, Dien Bien province, was added to the Dien Bien Phu Battlefield Special National Site ranked in Decision No. 1272/QD-TTg dated August 12, 2009 of the Prime Minister.

The relic protection area is determined according to the Minutes and Map of relic protection areas in the dossier.

The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Chairmen of People's Committees at all levels where there are ranked relics, within the scope of their tasks and powers, to carry out state management of relics in accordance with the provisions of the law on cultural heritage.

Thus, after the 16th round of ranking special national monuments, Vietnam has 139 special national monuments.
