The competition opened with a skit titled "Understanding the People" by Battalion 9, revolving around the local government and people creating the best conditions for the unit to overcome difficulties related to training grounds. It is known that, with a spirit of unity, initiative, creativity, and extensive knowledge, the competing teams effectively and practically applied and concretized the work of mass mobilization in various forms. Many performances were elaborately staged with diverse themes such as: building advanced new rural areas, building cultural life, and disseminating laws to the entire unit and the people.

The competition was organized in a theatrical format, with teams participating in three parts: a brief introduction of their unit and affiliated area; a knowledge and situational problem-solving test; and a presentation and promotion of effective models, activities, and best practices in mass mobilization work within their unit. Most captivating were the skits reflecting the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" model, highlighting effective methods in disseminating information and mobilizing the people to comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws; helping people develop the economy , alleviate poverty, eliminate outdated customs, and resolve issues related to policies and regulations within the unit, attracting a large audience of officials and citizens.

Lieutenant Colonel Pham Van Ky, Political Commissar of Regiment 209, affirmed: "In recent years, in addition to excellently fulfilling training and combat readiness tasks, officers and soldiers of Regiment 209 have also done well in civilian affairs work, contributing to strengthening military-civilian solidarity and consolidating the people's support in the area where they are stationed."

The "Excellent Mass Mobilization Unit" competition is a comprehensive political activity aimed at exchanging and disseminating good experiences and innovative, effective methods in implementing the "Excellent Mass Mobilization" emulation movement and building "Good Mass Mobilization Units". Through this competition, awareness and responsibility are enhanced among Party committees, commanders at all levels, and officers and soldiers in the Regiment regarding mass mobilization work, maintaining and strengthening the solidarity between the military and the people.
