In mid-July, Nguyen Phuong Mai (28 years old, from Hanoi) traveled to Qinghai and Gansu provinces of China.

As one of the attractive tourist destinations in China, Qinghai attracts visitors with many mysteries about nature and culture. This is the source of three major rivers: the Yangtze River, the Yellow River, and the Mekong - Lancang. Some famous tourist destinations in Qinghai include: Chaka Salt Lake, Qinghai Lake, Golmud...

Gansu is also a famous tourist destination. Located between Qinghai, Inner Mongolia and the Loess Plateau, this place has many attractive attractions with a long history of development. Famous places in Gansu that tourists cannot miss when coming here are the Yellow River, the largest Gobi desert in Asia or the vast green grasslands.

Phuong Mai, a 9X girl, has been to 24 countries and territories. This time, Mai traveled to Qinghai to admire the beautiful scenery of the yellow rapeseed fields blooming in the summer.

This is Phuong Mai's second time coming to Thanh Hai. The first time she came to Tay Ninh, Thanh Hai for 1 day so she didn't have time to explore this interesting land. So this time, the young girl decided to visit more tourist destinations and small districts of Thanh Hai.

In Gansu, Mai explored the following places: Dunhuang, Danhe Rainbow Mountain. In Qinghai, Mai spent time wandering around Qinghai Lake, the yellow rapeseed fields stretching for dozens of kilometers in Menyuan County and Mada County, the source of the Yellow River.

Phuong Mai spent time visiting the Rainbow Mountains located in Zhangye Danxia Geopark in Gansu Province, China. With its unique terrain, this place is always among the top scenic spots in China and was recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site in 2009.

The endless fields of yellow rapeseed flowers in Qinghai. The ideal time to visit this fairyland is around mid-July. This is also the time when the yellow rapeseed flowers are in full bloom, combined with the blue lake and clear sky, creating an incredibly beautiful scene.

Blue sky and calm lake water are the highlights of Qinghai in summer days.

The fields of yellow rapeseed flowers, interspersed with cool green grasslands, and the mountains create a peaceful, leisurely feeling. Explaining why so many rapeseed flowers are grown here, local people say that the weather conditions are very favorable for the flower to grow. The rapeseed fields here extract enough oil to supply Qinghai Province in particular and the Northwest region of China in general. Gradually, the rapeseed fields are expanding to attract a large number of tourists to Qinghai Lake every year.

The green scenery of a plateau near Tinh Tu Hai Lake fascinates female tourists.

One of the things that impressed Phuong Mai most during the trip was the friendliness of the people of Thanh Hai.

Sharing the most memorable and warmest memory of the trip, Mai said that when she checked in at the hotel, she was suddenly informed that they were not allowed to accommodate foreigners. The reason was that the night before, the hotel had just had its license revoked because a foreign guest did not use original identification documents to register for a stay.

“At that time, both the driver and everyone were tired. But fortunately, the hotel and the local police were very enthusiastic in helping us find a new place to stay. The group went to the third hotel where there were still rooms available, and there was a policewoman standing in the lobby waiting for us to help with check-in procedures and send us a free breakfast voucher. Before that, when the second hotel announced that there were no rooms available, we joked that if we couldn't find a hotel, we would probably go to the police station to ask to stay overnight tonight," Phuong Mai shared.

"During the trip, I was also invited into a Tibetan family's tent to drink butter tea and listen to them sing. Although they could not speak Mandarin and only communicated through body language, I was very happy and felt their hospitality," the girl added.

As of the time of the interview, the 9X girl had set foot in 24 countries and territories in Europe, Asia, and Australia. Each destination gave Mai unforgettable memories.

Phuong Mai remembers the cold winter days alone dragging her suitcase around Australia or the carefree days running freely on the Mongolian steppe, the feeling of great satisfaction when touching the Pyramids in Egypt.

She remembers the golden autumn days in Central Asia, the nights climbing Mount Bromo (Indonesia); the days of wandering in Dubai, overwhelmed by the giant architectural works and the most luxurious things in the world that can only be found in this oil country.

Currently, Phuong Mai is in Xinjiang, the young girl plans to visit Bac Cuong and admire Hoa Diem Son (Nam Cuong). Next November, Mai plans to go to Antarctica and South America.

- If the hotel refuses to accept you, you can ask them to help you find a hotel for foreigners, or go to the nearest police station for help. They are very willing to help and very quickly.

- Rice in this area is quite easy to eat and cheap, visitors can order simple dishes such as: stir-fried potatoes, stir-fried wood ear mushrooms, mustard greens, tomato sauce eggs, tomato soup, mustard greens soup, beef noodles, dumplings, grilled goat meat is soft and less greasy and easy to eat.
