Dong Nai province spends nearly 433 billion VND to give gifts to people to celebrate the 80th anniversary of August Revolution and National Day September 2

(DN) - On August 30, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province issued a decision approving additional funding to give gifts to people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. The total approved budget allocation is 432 billion 708 million 800 thousand VND.

According to the decision, this funding source is taken from the targeted supplementary source according to Decision No. 1867/QD-TTg dated August 29, 2025 of the Prime Minister and a part of the advance from the provincial budget fund for communes and wards in Dong Nai province to give gifts to people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

Gift giving will be done once per household, the amount of money for each household is determined for each person in the household according to national population data; the head of the household will receive on behalf of each person according to the list.

The gift giving period is completed on August 30, 2025. In case of objective reasons, the gift can be received after this period, but not later than September 15, 2025.

Previously, on August 29, 2025, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc signed Decision No. 1867/QD-TTg on targeted supplementation from the central budget to local budgets to give gifts to people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

The decision clearly states that the targeted supplement from the central budget expenditure estimate for 2025 has been decided by the National Assembly but has not yet been allocated in detail to 34 provinces and cities to implement the policy of giving gifts to people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, with a total budget of VND 10,700,242,800,000.
