Hung Yen: Expected to complete more than 1,480 social housing units by the end of 2025

According to the People's Committee of Hung Yen province, the locality is developing industry very strongly. In response to the huge demand for housing, recently, the locality has synchronously deployed many solutions to speed up the implementation of social housing projects.

As a result, in the 2021 - 2024 period, the province completed 1,500 units; in the first 9 months of 2025, 1,095 units were completed and put into use, and it is expected that by the end of this year, 1,483 more units will be completed (reaching 110% of the assigned target). In the 2021 - 2030 period, the province was assigned to complete 48,500 social housing units; of which, 2,250 units were assigned in 2025, and 44,750 units were assigned in the 2026 - 2030 period.

Currently, the province is implementing 5 social housing projects with a scale of 12,258 units; in which, Yen Son Company is constructing 3 apartment buildings with 280 apartments for low-income people in My Hao ward. This project is in the process of constructing the foundation. The investor is committed to completing the project on schedule and ahead of schedule.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Duong, Project Management Board of Yen Son Joint Stock Company, said that the company is expected to complete the foundation by December 2025 and the structure by June 2026. By the fourth quarter of 2026, the company will complete and hand over the site to people with income to buy houses.

Similarly, Lac Hong Phuc Investment and Development Joint Stock Company is implementing a social housing project in the Green Green City urban area in My Hao ward. At the construction site, the project is constructing the foundation. Large concrete piles have been driven into the ground, creating a solid base for the future building.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Nga, Director of Lac Hong Phuc Investment and Development Joint Stock Company, shared: The social housing area is designed as two buildings, each 18 floors high with a total of 564 apartments. The project has an area of ​​9.8 hectares, with surrounding social facilities, ensuring the daily life of residents. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2026, early 2027, contributing to the province's social housing fund.

According to the Department of Construction of Hung Yen province, along with projects that are qualified to construct social housing, the province has planned 73 social housing projects with a total area of ​​about 153 hectares (including 10 independent social housing projects and 63 commercial housing projects with 20% of land fund reserved for social housing development).

Hung Yen province's strong implementation of construction to continuously supplement the social housing fund for low-income people, in order to concretize the very humane policy of the Party and State and is an important pillar in social security policies, ensuring progress, social justice and promoting socio -economic development, is also a practical work of Hung Yen province to contribute to the early completion of the target of the Project of 1 million social housing units in the period of 2021 - 2030 directed by the Prime Minister.
