
At around 9am on October 16, Mr. Y Be (born in 1930, residing in Dak O Nglang village, Kon Braih commune) left home to go to the fields, but did not return. His family and the village management searched for him for more than a day without results, so they reported to the commune police.
At around 1:30 p.m. on October 17, Kon Braih Commune Police mobilized 10 officers and soldiers, directly commanded by Major Nguyen Duy Trinh, Deputy Chief of Commune Police, in coordination with militia, grassroots security and people, divided into many groups to cross the forest, overcome slippery hilly terrain, and use motorbikes and search tools to expand the search area.

After nearly 3 hours of effort, at 4:30 p.m. the same day, the police force discovered Mr. Y Be in the field area bordering the forest of village 11, Kon Braih commune in stable health condition and brought him home safely.
Mr. A Khinh, Head of Dak O Nglang Village, said that during the time he was lost, to survive, Mr. Y Be drank stream water, slept in bushes, and used a plastic raincoat to keep warm. Mr. Y Be was old and weak, and if he had been discovered late, his life could have been in danger. Fortunately, the police found Mr. Y Be in time.
