Heavy rain, flash flood warnings, and localized flooding in many areas.

According to the forecast bulletin of Khanh Hoa Hydrometeorological Station, during the day and night of December 10, the province will have moderate to heavy rain, with some areas experiencing very heavy rain. River water levels are close to alert level 1, with some rivers at alert level 2; there is a risk of flash floods and landslides in more than 40 communes and wards across the province.

Regarding reservoirs, the total capacity of 64 reservoirs (53 irrigation reservoirs, 11 hydropower reservoirs) as of 6:00 AM on December 9th was 645.4 million , reaching 85.8% of the design capacity. Of these, reservoirs with a capacity of over 10 million achieved water storage rates ranging from 39% to 98%; large reservoirs such as Da Ban, Suoi Dau, Song Cai, Song Sat, and Song Trau had water storage rates of 76%-87%. Reservoirs with a capacity of 1 to 10 million achieved water storage rates ranging from 58% to 100%.

Currently, several reservoirs are operating to regulate water levels. In the southern part of the province, Song Cai reservoir is regulating at a flow rate of 42.5 /s; Tra Co reservoir at 8.85 /s; Tan Giang reservoir at 9.05 /s; and Song Than reservoir at 25.5 /s. In the northern part of the province, Am Chua reservoir is regulating at 2.02 /s; Suoi Dau reservoir at 7.55 /s; Cam Ranh reservoir at 10.6 /s; and Ta Ruc reservoir at 7.02 /s.

Forecast for the day and night of December 10-12, the weather in Khanh Hoa province will be cloudy, with rain and moderate rain; the north and west of the province may have places with heavy rain and thunderstorms. Total rainfall is generally 20-60mm, in the west there may be places with more than 90mm.

The sea off Khanh Hoa province and Truong Sa special zone has northeast wind level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8-9; rough seas, waves 2-5m high.

In the next 24 hours, floods are likely to occur on rivers in Khanh Hoa province at alert level 1-2, with some rivers above alert level 2.

Warning of localized flooding risk in some low-lying areas in the following communes and wards: Ninh Hoa, Nam Ninh Hoa, Dong Ninh Hoa, Tan Dinh, Hoa Tri, Hoa Thang, Dien Khanh, Suoi Hiep, Dien Dien, Bac Nha Trang, Nha Trang, Tay Nha Trang, Nam Nha Trang, Phan Rang, Bao An, Phuoc Dinh, Phuoc Hau, Phuoc Huu, Ninh Phuoc, Thuan Nam, Cam Ranh....
