Nearly 7,000 students receive policy loans for the 2025-2026 school year

(DN) - On October 18, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) Dong Nai branch Vo Trong Hoa said: Implementing the Student Loan Program, in the first two months of the 2025-2026 school year, the bank has disbursed VND 279 billion in loans to nearly 7,000 students. Thereby, increasing the total number of students borrowing policy loans in the province to over 25,100 cases with a total capital of over VND 1,600 billion.

In addition, implementing Decision 29/2025/QD-TTg dated August 28, 2025 of the Prime Minister on credit for students, master's students, and biological researchers in science , technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) to cover tuition fees, living expenses and other study expenses during their studies, the Bank for Social Policies, Dong Nai branch, has disbursed over VND 2.9 billion to 35 students and trainees studying STEM majors.

According to Deputy Director of the Bank for Social Policies, Dong Nai Province Branch, Vo Trong Hoa: People who want to learn about the policy credit loan program for students, and loans for STEM majors can directly contact the Savings and Loan Group in the village, hamlet, neighborhood or at the Bank for Social Policies Transaction Offices in the province for guidance.
