Nearly 7,000 students receive policy loans for the 2025-2026 school year

(DN) - On October 18, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) Dong Nai branch Vo Trong Hoa said: Implementing the Student Loan Program, in the first two months of the 2025-2026 school year, the bank has disbursed VND 279 billion in loans to nearly 7,000 students. Thereby, increasing the total number of students borrowing policy loans in the province to over 25,100 cases with a total capital of over VND 1,600 billion.

In addition, implementing Decision 29/2025/QD-TTg dated August 28, 2025, of the Prime Minister on credit for students, master's students, and doctoral candidates studying science , technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) to cover tuition fees, living expenses, and other study costs during their studies, the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) branch in Dong Nai province has disbursed over 2.9 billion VND to 35 students and trainees studying STEM fields.

According to Vo Trong Hoa, Deputy Director of the Social Policy Bank branch in Dong Nai province: People who want to learn about policy credit loan programs for students, and loans for STEM fields can contact the Savings and Loan Group in their villages, hamlets, or neighborhoods, or the Social Policy Bank's transaction offices in the province for guidance.
