In order to enhance the application of information technology and digital transformation in election organization, Hai Chau ward ( Da Nang city) has implemented a digital map system to monitor election progress at polling stations in the area.
The system helps update data in real time, supporting local leaders in monitoring, directing, and effectively managing the election day for the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

Accordingly, the digital map provides visual information on the number of voters, the number of voters who participated in the election, and the voter turnout rate at each polling station. The system also compiles overall data for the entire ward, helping the Steering Committee quickly grasp the situation and assess the progress of the election work.
A key feature of the system is that data is updated in real time as soon as polling stations enter information. This allows ward leaders and relevant departments to promptly monitor the situation at each polling station, proactively direct and manage the process, and quickly handle any issues that may arise during the election.

Da Nang is adorned with flags and flowers to welcome Election Day.
At polling stations, members can directly update and monitor data via computer or smartphone. The system is designed to be compatible with various devices such as computers, phones, and smart TVs, making it convenient for monitoring and displaying information at polling stations when needed.
This digital map is built on the basis of connecting and synchronizing data from the election support system implemented by the Da Nang City Election Committee, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with current regulations.

Mr. Nguyen Van Duy, Chairman of the Hai Chau Ward People's Committee, said that the ward had proactively coordinated with the city and the Department of Internal Affairs to implement a real-time voter turnout tracking system from an early stage.
Data from 43 polling stations across the area is continuously updated and sent to the Steering Committee for compilation and reporting as requested by the city.
Through digital maps, the Steering Committee can specifically monitor the voter turnout rate in each area. In cases where a polling station is found to be progressing slower than others, relevant forces will promptly take appropriate measures to support and coordinate efforts to accelerate the process and ensure that voting is completed within the stipulated time.
The deployment of digital maps to track election progress is seen as an effective technological solution, contributing to improving the quality of leadership and management, and demonstrating the locality's efforts to promote digital transformation in state management.
