Up to now, VssID users can reset their password in 2 ways through the virtual assistant on Call Center 1900.9068 (extension 8) or retrieve their password for free via email address.
Vietnam Social Security has just announced that it is piloting the integration of a virtual assistant into the Vietnam Social Security Customer Care Center 1900.9068 to support people in re-issuing their VssID-Social Security account passwords.
To reset the password via the virtual assistant on Call Center 1900.9068, users follow 3 steps.
Step 1: Use the phone number registered for the VssID account to call the switchboard 1900.9068, press number 8 to select the function to reset the VssID password and follow the instructions.
Step 2 : The virtual assistant asks you to provide the social security number you need to retrieve your password. After you provide the social security number, the system will check the phone number you are calling and the social security number. If it matches the data managed by the Vietnam Social Security, the virtual assistant will read the new password to you (the new password will be repeated once for you to remember). If it does not match, the virtual assistant will notify you "the phone number and social security number do not match or have not been registered with the social security agency."
Step 3: End call.
The fee for calling the switchboard 1900.9068 is 1,000 VND/minute, this fee is paid to the switchboard service provider.
Thus, currently, VssID users can reset their password in 2 ways through the virtual assistant on Call Center 1900.9068 (extension 8) or retrieve their password for free via email address.
[Warning of fraud in re-issuing VssID social insurance application password]
Employees can retrieve their password via email address by using the forgot password function on the VssID application or the forgot password function on the website https://dichvucong.baohiemxahoi.gov.vn (this method requires the VssID account to have an email address).
In case when registering for an electronic social insurance transaction account, people do not have information about their email address, they can add their email address through the following channels: Make a declaration form TK1-TS to declare additional email information through the electronic social insurance transaction of the unit or service collection organization that is managing them or make a declaration to change or add information to register to use the electronic transaction method in the field of social insurance according to Form No. 02/SD-GD, and submit it directly to the nearest social insurance agency.
By piloting the integration of virtual assistants into the Customer Care Call Center to support users of the VssID application in re-issuing passwords, Vietnam Social Security wishes to provide more and more features and utilities, creating convenience for people when participating in transactions with social insurance agencies, contributing to building a modern, professional industry, for the satisfaction of organizations and individuals.
