Over the years, the Central Youth Union has established the Global Network of Young Vietnamese Intellectuals with a regular operating and exchange mechanism of more than 2,000 young intellectuals worldwide.

Speaking at the press conference, Mr. Nguyen Tuong Lam, Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union affirmed that the Global Vietnamese Young Intellectuals Forum is a practical activity, concretizing important resolutions of the Politburo recently such as Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on science - technology development - innovation and national digital transformation, or Resolution 68-NQ/TW on private economic development, affirming the pioneering role of young intellectual human resources in the journey to bring the country into a new era of development.

According to Mr. Lam, this year's Forum has many innovations in terms of content, form and approach. In addition to inheriting the serious academic spirit and continuous connection of previous sessions, this year's program focuses more on connecting young intellectuals with national development practices, through practical experiential activities, in-depth dialogues with leading corporations, technology models and innovation ecosystems in Vietnam.

"This year's delegation has a diverse structure, a harmonious combination of experienced scientists and dynamic young intellectuals pursuing research at the world's leading scientific institutions. This is a valuable resource, capable of directly contributing to the process of building and perfecting national policies, developing science and technology, promoting creative startups and transferring knowledge to serve the country's development," said Mr. Lam.

The discussion topics are also designed to focus more on emerging global issues that require contributions from young intellectuals – those who are at the forefront of innovation, research and future creation. In particular, the dialogue sessions are not only theoretical but also focus on practical policy recommendations that can be transformed into concrete actions after the Forum.

Mr. Lam emphasized: “We expect that these innovations will help the Forum not only be a place for exchanging ideas, but also a bridge between intellectuals - policies - markets, contributing to bringing initiatives, knowledge and intellectual content of young Vietnamese intellectuals directly into the flow of national development in the new period”.
