On the morning of July 14, in Hanoi, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union , the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, and relevant units held a press conference to inform about the 6th Global Forum of Young Vietnamese Intellectuals in 2025.
According to Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Union Nguyen Kim Quy, with the theme "Young Vietnamese intellectuals globally contribute to the country entering a new era", the Forum aims to connect and promote the role of young intellectuals at home and abroad; propose initiatives and breakthrough solutions for national development; promote the implementation of Resolution 57 of the Politburo on science, technology development, innovation and national digital transformation.
Of the 201 official delegates attending the Forum, more than 90% were trained abroad; 62 delegates are currently working in 20 countries and territories around the world .
It is known that delegates of this year's Forum were selected in the main fields: science and technology; economics-management; health-medicine; environment-sustainable development; education, society.
Notably, among them are many experts in the fields of nuclear physics, rocket engines, AI algorithms, green economics, banking and finance, biomedical technology, linguistics...
Delegates will discuss several main contents: applying AI and new technologies to improve labor productivity; innovative startups associated with green economy and sustainable development; sustainable adaptation to challenges of the era of global change; developing cultural and educational foundations in the new era.
Within the framework of the Forum, delegates will also visit Vinfast Factory in Hai Phong city, Green SM company, attend a seminar on data security... The Forum's branch seminars are deployed by groups of delegates, organized in parallel in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Youth Union Nguyen Tuong Lam said that through 5 times of organization, the Forum has attracted more than 1,000 young intellectuals at home and abroad to contribute to programs and policies related to the development of young Vietnamese talents.
This year's forum continues to be an opportunity and a channel for exchange between young Vietnamese intellectuals around the world about the vision, mission, role and potential contribution of young Vietnamese intellectuals in the process of national construction and development, promoting the process of deep economic integration of Vietnam with the region and the world.
