Hanoi Medical University is the training institution that always leads in the benchmark scores for health sciences in the North. The medical and dental majors in the past three years have always had benchmark scores for the B00 combination (math, chemistry, biology) above 27.5 points, equivalent to more than 9 points/subject.
Specifically, in 2022, the medical industry will have a benchmark score of 28.15 points for the B00 combination (math, chemistry, biology), equivalent to 9.38 points/subject. By 2023, the benchmark score will decrease to 27.73 points. Then in 2024, it will increase again to 28.27 points.
The dental and maxillofacial industry has fluctuated from 27.5 to 27.7 points in the past three years. The standard scores of the industries that have always maintained nearly 25 points or more include refraction ophthalmology, Thanh Hoa branch of medicine, medical testing techniques, and traditional medicine.
In recent years, the school has opened new majors such as psychology, midwifery, and dental prosthetics. This year, the school has opened two new majors: social work and medical imaging technology.
In 2025, Hanoi Medical University will enroll 1,910 students for two admission methods, including direct admission (40% of the target) and considering high school graduation exam scores.
With the direct admission method, on July 15, the school announced the list of 272 candidates who were conditionally admitted to the school in 2025.
Of which, medicine is the major with the largest number of candidates with 167, followed by dentistry 50, psychology 35, Thanh Hoa branch of medicine 9, ophthalmology 3, medical testing techniques 3, medical imaging techniques 2, traditional medicine 2, public health 1.
Candidates who are admitted directly, after graduating from high school, need to confirm their admission online on the Ministry of Education and Training's information portal before 5:00 p.m. on August 30.

In the 2025-2026 school year, the school plans to charge university tuition fees ranging from 16.9 - 62.2 million VND/school year, an increase of 1.9 - 7 million VND compared to 2024.
Of which, medicine, traditional medicine and dentistry have the highest tuition fee of 62.2 million VND/year, an increase of about 7 million VND/school year.
The tuition fee for the majors of ophthalmology refraction, medical testing techniques, rehabilitation techniques, advanced nursing programs, midwifery, medical imaging techniques, and dental prosthetic techniques is 47.2 million VND/year, an increase of about 5.4 million VND.
Psychology is the major with the lowest tuition fee at Hanoi Medical University, estimated at 16.9 million VND/year, an increase of about 1.9 million VND compared to last year.
