Hanoi 10th grade exam: Literature exam questions and suggested answers in 2025

This morning (June 7), candidates in Hanoi completed the 120-minute Literature exam for grade 10. Below are the sample answers for the Literature exam for grade 10 in Hanoi in 2025.

This year's 10th grade entrance exam has some important changes, in which the most notable new point is the way the admission score is calculated. In previous years, the admission score was calculated according to the formula: Math and Literature scores multiplied by a factor of 2, Foreign Language scores multiplied by a factor of 1.

According to this year's new regulations, the admission score will be calculated by the total score of three subjects, on a 10-point scale, without multiplying the coefficient. This is a technical change, but it has a great impact on the evaluation of exam results as well as student classification.

The new calculation method makes the average score expected to be lower than in previous years, because the maximum score is only 30 instead of 50 as before. This poses a challenge for the admission process, especially in ensuring fairness, transparency and objectivity.
