Teacher writes test for injured candidate during 10th grade exam under supervision of invigilator and camera
At 3:30 p.m. on June 6, candidates in Ho Chi Minh City completed the first day of the 10th grade exam with two subjects: literature and foreign language.
Accordingly, in the two exams of literature (morning) and foreign language (afternoon), each session had about 380 absent candidates. In addition, in the literature exam, 2 candidates arrived at the exam site at 8:20, 20 minutes later than the starting time of the exam, so the head of the exam site did not allow the candidates to take the exam according to regulations.
Also according to information from the Department of Education and Training, on the first day of the exam, 2 candidates violated the exam regulations (bringing phones into the exam room). The exam sites suspended the exam and confiscated the phones, sent them to security to check the equipment and confirmed that no exam papers were sent out. At the same time, the exam sites made a record of the exam suspension in accordance with regulations.
There was a case where a candidate opened a document in the exam room, the invigilator confiscated the document and issued a warning to the candidate.
The candidate who broke his arm at the exam site of Doan Thi Diem Secondary School (District 3, Ho Chi Minh City) was one of the candidates whose teacher wrote the 10th grade exam for him.
In addition, according to information from the Department of Education and Training, in this year's 10th grade exam, 8 candidates had accidents and needed support while taking the test.
The Department of Education and Training has arranged for 8 high school teachers who do not have the expertise to teach the subjects that the candidates will be tested on to help them write their papers. However, in the morning of the exam, a candidate at Nguyen Huu Huan High School (Thu Duc City) was able to write his own papers. Thus, there are only 7 candidates who need help writing their papers in this year's exam.
It is known that this year's 10th grade exam in Ho Chi Minh City has about 96,334 candidates taking the exam. 114 public high schools will enroll 77,294 students.
