The Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) has just issued guidelines for university and college admissions in 2026.

Candidates can register for university admission from July 2nd to 14th.
Accordingly, all candidates must register for admission online through the Ministry of Education and Training's General Admissions Support System or the National Public Service Portal (as of now). All of the candidate's admission preferences must be registered on the System for unified processing.
For candidates graduating from high school in 2026, the eligibility requirement for university admission through all methods is a total score of at least 15 points in the three subjects of the chosen combination (or Mathematics, Literature, and another subject) on a 30-point scale, excluding priority points and bonus points; this does not apply to candidates who are granted special consideration for high school graduation.
Candidates can register for a maximum of 15 preferences. For candidates applying for teacher training programs, training institutions will only consider preferences from 1 to 5. National Defense and Public Security schools follow the regulations of the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security , respectively.
The Ministry of Education and Training reminds candidates of the following important deadlines:
Candidates can register, adjust, or add their preferences from July 2nd to 5 PM on July 14th. During this period, candidates are allowed to make multiple adjustments or additions.
From July 15th to 5 PM on July 21st, candidates must pay the online application fee according to the number of their desired majors, following the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Candidates should carefully review the instructions and follow the entire registration process correctly and completely. Candidates who are unclear about the information to be provided or the application fee can contact staff at the registration points or admissions officers of the training institutions via the support phone numbers.
All successful candidates (including those admitted directly) must confirm their enrollment online on the System (if they wish to study) before 5 PM on August 21st.
From August 22nd to December 2026, candidates wishing to apply for supplementary admission rounds should follow the admission information posted on the admissions websites of the respective educational institutions.
Candidates must submit supporting documents for admission to the training institution, following the institution's instructions. For majors with aptitude tests, if using test scores from another institution, candidates need to contact the training institution to register for the test or submit the scores as required.
The Ministry of Education and Training requires educational institutions to provide complete admissions information that is correctly structured, formatted, and accurate; the content must be clear, easy to understand, and avoid confusion between the names of educational institutions, branches, as well as between different groups of majors, majors, and training programs.
