Having performed quite well in the literature and foreign language exams, along with the active support of various forces on the first day of the exam (May 30th), many candidates entered the third exam with confidence and motivation.
Drawing lessons from the two cases of candidates bringing mobile phones into the examination room on the first day of the exam, and to ensure the safety of the final exam as well as the rights of the candidates, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training has instructed the leaders of the 224 examination centers to continue to emphasize to invigilators the strict implementation of the examination regulations.
Before the exam, invigilators reminded and instructed candidates not to bring mobile phones or other prohibited items into the examination room, in accordance with regulations.
Candidates should note that to be considered for admission to 10th grade in public high schools in Hanoi, they must complete all three exams: Literature, Foreign Language, and Mathematics. The Hanoi Department of Education and Training will only consider students who have not violated regulations to the extent of having their exam results canceled and who have not received a score of 0 on any exam.
Therefore, candidates need to pay special attention to the list of items allowed and not allowed in the examination room. According to the examination regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training , to facilitate the examination process, candidates are allowed to bring the following items into the examination room: pens, rulers, pencils, erasers, set squares, graph rulers, drawing tools, and handheld calculators without text editing functions and without memory cards.
Prohibited items in the examination room or waiting area include: carbon paper, correction fluid, alcoholic beverages; weapons, explosives, flammable materials; documents; communication devices, transmitting and receiving devices, audio and video recording devices, or devices containing information used for cheating during the examination.
If a candidate brings unauthorized items into the examination room or waiting room, they will be suspended from the exam, receive a score of 0 for that exam, and lose the right to participate in the admission process for 10th grade in public high schools for the 2026-2027 school year.
The Hanoi Department of Education and Training is expected to announce the exam results between June 19th and June 22nd, 2026.
