Candidates are shocked when their foreign language certificate is missing from their university application form.

Many parents expressed concern and anxiety about whether their rights would be guaranteed because they had uploaded their foreign language certificates to the Ministry of Education and Training's registration system, but when they went to the Lookup section or exported the wish list, they did not see this content.

Recently, a kindergarten parent shared their concerns when their child had entered the international language certificate into the Ministry of Education and Training's Admissions System on time, but today when they registered and exported the list of wishes, the form did not show the foreign language certificate.

“In the application form file exported from the Ministry's system, in addition to the applications, I only see the high school graduation exam scores and the Aptitude/Thinking Assessment exam scores displayed, etc. So, will my child's foreign language certificates be counted towards the conversion score when applying to the universities he/she has registered for? Is there any error in the design of the application form by the Ministry of Education and Training? We are very worried,” the parent shared.

Many other parents also expressed similar concerns.

“My family is also very confused. Because on the right side of the list of wishes, there is information about the scores of the Ability Assessment, Thinking Assessment, etc., but there is no information about the foreign language certificate. I hope the Ministry of Education and Training will answer and guide so that parents and candidates can feel secure,” another parent shared.

Speaking with VietNamNet , a representative of the Department of Higher Education , Ministry of Education and Training said that they have checked, reviewed and determined that the reason why the list of certificates (if any) is not visible can only be because parents and candidates have not operated correctly on the System to view the information.

“When parents and candidates view or print the list of admission wishes, there will be no list of certificates. The list of wishes is not related to the list of certificates,” he said.

The Ministry of Education and Training recommends that candidates and parents, when logging into their accounts, go to the correct section to view or check certificates.

To view or check uploaded foreign language certificate information, candidates and parents need to go to the "List of foreign language certificates" section on the Ministry of Education and Training's System.

According to this person, information about foreign language certificates, if candidates have definitely uploaded them to the Ministry's system, can be viewed in the "List of foreign language certificates" section, not in the "Search" section.

“First of all, candidates must make sure that they have registered for the system to be available. The foreign language certificate will only display information in the List of foreign language certificates that the candidate declared. If the candidate or parent enters the wrong section, they will not be able to see it,” he said.

A representative of the Ministry of Education and Training said that if candidates and parents check to make sure that they have entered the certificates into the System, they can be completely assured that their rights in enrollment will be guaranteed.

A representative of the Ministry of Education and Training said that the fact that the list of candidates' application forms does not include a foreign language certificate is according to the original design of the Ministry of Education and Training, and not because there is any problem with the issuance of the candidates' application forms. Therefore, candidates and parents do not need to worry about this.

The application registration system is open by the Ministry of Education and Training from July 16 to July 28.
