The trend of decorating Tet this year is the traditional style with simple, rustic products, reminiscent of the old Tet, which was simple but cozy. Therefore, bamboo trays, bamboo blinds, paper fans, and door wreaths are quite popular. Products made of bamboo, rattan, and paper are more popular than plastic. In addition, the market has many new products such as apricot and peach blossoms made of velvet zinc. The advantage of velvet zinc is that it is flexible, has rich colors, meets the need for creativity, and makes products with unique features, so it is favored by many people.
Each Tet decoration product has different prices. Peach and kumquat hanging strings cost from 10,000 to 35,000 VND/piece, gold coins with the words "Happy New Year", "May everything go as you wish"... depending on the size, are priced from 120,000 to 250,000 VND/product. Items arranged into miniature landscapes for check-in corners cost from 700,000 to 2 million VND depending on the size and sophistication of each product. Bouquets of flowers and fake pomegranate branches that look real are also very popular. A bouquet of 10 fake apricot and peach blossom branches 1m long costs about 110,000 to 120,000 VND. Pre-arranged flower vases commonly cost from 300,000 to 500,000 VND. These prices are similar to last year.
