On May 21, 2025, Lang Son Electronic Newspaper published an article "Need to rectify the situation of littering at Mai Sao stream" reflecting on the situation of littering at the stream area in Lang Nac village, Mai Sao commune, Chi Lang district. Based on the information, the People's Committee of Chi Lang district issued a document directing the People's Committee of Mai Sao commune to carry out environmental sanitation work, collect waste to clean the Thuong river and streams in the commune.

According to our actual records after the direction of the People's Committee of Chi Lang district, the waste in the stream area flowing through Lang Nac village has been collected and treated by incineration. At the same time, a part of the waste in the stream bed has been cleaned up. However, in the above area, there is still a relatively large amount of domestic waste that has not been completely treated, mainly non-degradable waste such as plastic bags and food packaging. Besides, there are still many plastic packaging and garbage bags in the riverbed.

Faced with the above reality, relevant units need to continue to seriously implement the direction of the Chi Lang District People's Committee to completely handle the remaining waste, contributing to ensuring environmental sanitation and the beauty of residential areas.
