Vocational College No. 1 - Ministry of National Defense is one of 45 schools nationwide approved by the Prime Minister in the "Project for developing high-quality vocational schools by 2020" according to Decision No. 761/QD-TTg dated May 23, 2014 of the Prime Minister.

Major General La Cong Phuong, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of Military Region 1, inspected Vocational College No. 1 - Ministry of National Defense.

At Vocational College No. 1 - Ministry of National Defense, the delegation inspected the actual enrollment,education and training, facilities and equipment of the school; and listened to the report on the results of the school's recent implementation of tasks.

At the inspection, Major General La Cong Phuong praised the results that the school has achieved in the past time. Major General La Cong Phuong requested: The Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the school continue to thoroughly grasp and implement the directives and instructions at all levels. Focus on building the school's human resources to ensure quality; the team of cadres, teachers and staff of the school overcome difficulties, unite and compete to perform well the assigned tasks; perform well the enrollment work, the training quality meets the actual needs of the current labor market; coordinate with the functional departments of the Military Region in implementing the tasks to ensure strictness; maintain the regular order of the military school; continue to consolidate and repair degraded works; promptly grasp the thoughts of students; pay attention to implementing well the policies for cadres, teachers and employees of the school.
