In Hanoi, during the four days of the 10th grade entrance exam, hot weather is forecast, so parents and candidates should take precautions to ensure their health.

The entrance exam for 10th grade in Hanoi's public schools will take place from May 29th to June 1st. On May 29th, candidates will complete the registration procedures; May 30th and 31st are for general exam candidates; and June 1st is for candidates applying to specialized schools.

According to the National Center for Hydrometeorology's forecast, on the day of the exam registration, the morning and noon will be rain-free with sunshine and temperatures ranging from 27-32 degrees Celsius. In the afternoon and evening, there will be occasional showers and thunderstorms, with temperatures generally ranging from 29-33 degrees Celsius.

On May 30-31, the forecast for Hanoi is no rain in the morning, noon, afternoon, or evening; the weather will be sunny. Morning and midday temperatures will generally range from 28-33 degrees Celsius, rising to 30-35 degrees Celsius in the evening.

From June 1st, the heat is expected to intensify. The forecast predicts no rain throughout the day, with sunny weather; temperatures in the morning and at noon will range from 29-34 degrees Celsius, while evening temperatures will generally be between 32-36 degrees Celsius.

The Ministry of Health advises people to wear light-colored, breathable clothing, drink 1.5-2 liters of water daily, supplement their diet with green vegetables and fruits, and maintain regular exercise to boost their immune system.

Parents are advised to bring their children to school on time as scheduled by the Hanoi Department of Education , prepare sun protection measures, ensure adequate hydration, and guarantee that the entrance exam will not be affected by changing weather conditions.

This year, Hanoi has approximately 147,000 junior high school graduates, of which nearly 125,000 registered to take the entrance exam for public high schools. With an enrollment quota of about 82,660, the pass rate is 56%.

Candidates applying for admission to non-specialized public high schools in Hanoi will take three exams: Literature (120 minutes), Mathematics (120 minutes), and Foreign Language (60 minutes). The Mathematics and Literature exams are essay-based, while the Foreign Language exam is multiple-choice.

Admission score = Math score + Literature score + Foreign language score + Priority points (if any) + Encouragement points (if any).
