The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that from last night until tonight, the weather in Thanh Hoa and Nghe An will have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms with common rainfall of 50-110mm, in some places very heavy rain over 250mm.

Ha Tinh and Quang Tri have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms with common rainfall of 40-80mm, some places have very heavy rain over 200mm.

Today until tomorrow, August 19, the Northeast region will have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms with common rainfall of 40-120mm, in some places very heavy rain over 250mm.

In addition, from last night until the end of today, the Northwest region, from Hue to Lam Dong and the South, will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some places experiencing heavy to very heavy rain with rainfall of 15-30mm, and some places over 80mm.

Warning of risk of heavy rain (>100mm/3 hours).

In the Gulf of Tonkin, the wind gradually increases to level 6, gusting to level 8, rough seas, waves 2-3m high.

From Khanh Hoa to Lam Dong and the central East Sea, southwest wind level 6, gust level 7-8, rough sea, waves 2 - 3.5m high.

Northeast sea area of East Sea has south to southeast wind level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 7-8, rough sea, waves 2-3m high.

The sea area from southern Quang Tri to Hue has southwest wind level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 7-8, rough sea, waves 1-2m high.

In the southern East Sea (including Truong Sa), southwest wind level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 7-8, rough sea, waves 1.5 - 2.5m high.
