(TN&MT) - On the morning of November 11, the 15th National Assembly began the question and answer session at the 8th session with Governor of the State Bank Nguyen Thi Hong.
Continuing the 8th Session, this morning, November 11, the National Assembly began the question and answer session. Three groups of issues were selected for questioning at this session, including the fields of Banking, Health , Information and Communications.
On the morning of November 11, after the opening speech of the question-and-answer session by National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, from 8:10 to 11:30, the National Assembly conducted questions on the first group of issues in the banking sector.
The questions include: Monetary policy management to control inflation in the context of the volatile world economic situation. State management of the gold market and foreign exchange market. Loan support and interest rate exemption and reduction for people and businesses to restore production and business after the COVID-19 pandemic and natural disasters.
The person answering the question is Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Thi Hong.
Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc; Ministers of Planning and Investment, Finance, Industry and Trade, Agriculture and Rural Development participated in answering questions and explaining related issues.
In the afternoon, from 2:00 p.m. to 2:15 p.m., the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam and relevant Government members continued to answer questions on the first group of issues. From 2:15 p.m. to 2:25 p.m., the National Assembly Chairman delivered a concluding speech on the first group of issues.
From 14:25 to 17:00, the National Assembly questioned the second group of issues in the health sector.
The questions include: Mobilization and arrangement of medical staff, ensuring medicine and medical supplies for people, and disease prevention and control after natural disasters. Issuance of licenses and practice certificates in the field of medical examination and treatment. Current status of management of functional foods, pharmaceutical cosmetics and solutions to handle violations. Prevention and control of harmful effects of tobacco and stimulants, especially in the school environment.
The person answering the questions was Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan. Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long, Ministers of Planning and Investment, Finance, Industry and Trade, Education and Training, Public Security, and National Defense also participated in answering questions and explaining related issues.
From 8:00 to 8:55 on November 12, the Minister of Health and relevant Government members continued to answer questions on the second group of issues. From 8:55 to 9:05, the National Assembly Chairman delivered a concluding speech on the second group of issues.
From 9:05 to 11:30 on November 12, Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung will answer the third group of questions in the field of information and communications.
Questioning content: Solutions to improve the quality of press activities in the current period of social media explosion, especially the role of revolutionary press in promoting socio-economic development. Management of advertising activities in the press and online environment. Investment, development and improvement of the quality of telecommunications infrastructure, especially in remote areas, remote areas, and ethnic minority areas.

After that, the National Assembly Chairman delivered a speech concluding the third group of issues.
From 15:10 to 15:30 on November 12, the Prime Minister (or authorized Deputy Prime Minister) will report and clarify related issues.
From 15:50 to 16:35, the Prime Minister (or authorized Deputy Prime Minister) answers questions from National Assembly deputies.
Then, the National Assembly Chairman delivered a speech concluding the question and answer session.
