Most Venerable Thich Nhuan Tri, Deputy Secretary and Chief of Office of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Ca Mau province, approved the program and activities to celebrate the Buddha's Birthday.

According to the plan, the Buddha's Birthday Festival of Buddhist calendar 2569 - solar calendar 2025 in Ca Mau will take place from May 10-12, 2025, organized on a large scale, solemnly and solemnly with many activities to honor the birthday of Buddha Shakyamuni such as: hanging the national flag, Buddhist flag, making miniature Lumbini garden; exchange camp for Buddhist family units, participating in games, vegetarian rice cooking competition; opening of vegetarian food fair... The official ceremony will take place on May 11 with the procession of Buddha from the main hall of Sac Tu Quan Am Co Tu to the ceremony platform of Monivongsa Bopharam Pagoda, Ward 1, Ca Mau City. The Buddha bathing ceremony will take place on May 12 at the main hall of Buddha Pagoda.

Mr. Nguyen Van Den, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, requested relevant agencies and units to coordinate and support so that the activities of the Buddha's Birthday Festival take place thoughtfully, solemnly and safely.

Accordingly, the delegates discussed the development of the script, stage design, and art performances to celebrate the great festival. In particular, they noted the factors of food safety and hygiene at the vegetarian food fair; maintaining security and order during the two days of the official grand festival; the press and media agencies stepped up propaganda work on examples of Buddhist compatriots living "good lives, beautiful religions"; the policies of caring for and respecting freedom of religious belief of our Party and State, all towards the great Buddha's birthday.
