Agree on the plan to develop budget revenue targets for the period 2026 - 2030

(sonla.gov.vn) On July 28, 2025, comrade Nguyen Dinh Viet, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; comrade Nguyen Thai Hung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council chaired a meeting with departments and branches on the plan to build budget revenue targets for the period 2026 - 2030. Attending the meeting were comrade Dang Ngoc Hau, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a number of departments and branches of the province.

Agree on the plan to develop budget revenue targets for the period 2026 - 2030.

Based on the assigned budget revenue target for the period 2026 - 2030, the Department of Finance has presided over and coordinated with the Department of Agriculture and Environment and the Tax Department of Son La province to develop a plan for budget revenue for the period 2026 - 2030, striving to reach VND 8,000 billion by 2030.

Representative of Son La Provincial Tax Department spoke at the meeting.

At the meeting, delegates focused on analyzing revenue based on GRDP growth indicators; budget revenue from activities such as: Revenue from land use rights, taxes, fees, charges; revenue from hydropower plants, enterprises; revenue from service and trade activities... Accordingly, delegates proposed to adjust the budget revenue target in the province by 2030 to 6,000 billion VND, in line with the total social investment target.

Comrade Dang Ngoc Hau, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, the chairmen requested the departments, branches and the Task Force for developing targets for the 16th Provincial Party Congress to review, evaluate, analyze feasibility and, based on practical basis, adjust the target on the growth rate of total GRDP in the 5 years, period 2026 - 2030; add targets on private economic development; send workers to work abroad under labor contracts. At the same time, propose specific solutions for implementation to ensure the achievement of the set plan.
